Creating Custom Reports …

Creating custom facility comparison reports is as simple as:

- Select the Report you want to run from the Report Menu.

- Select the Facilities you want to compare from the drop down menu.

- Select the Period (year & quarter) you want to use for the comparison.

- Select the Cost Centre(s) you want to compare.

- Select the Indicator(s) you want the results of for comparison.

- Run the Report.

WEIGHTED CASE COST

Weighted Case Cost (WCC)

Designed by EKS to provide clients with their Average Cost per Weighted Case using the most recent Ontario Cost Distribution Methodology (OCDM).

Clients receive both summary and detail reports outlining the distribution of costs between types of patients (Acute, Rehabilitation, Complex Continuing Care, Palliative, ELDCAP and Ambulatory Care) by cost centre.

 

Results analysis

Upon request, EKS will complete a detailed review of report results and provide summary of findings and recommendations to assist participating hospitals achieve optimum Average Cost per Weighted Case.
